#Find LCM/HCF of two numbers

LCM and HCF

Ratio of two numbers is 5:6. If their LCM is 2700, then find their HCF

Given

Ratio of two numbers = 5:6

LCM of two numbers = 2700

Formula Used:

Product of two numbers=Product of their HCF and LCM

Solution

Let the number be 5x and 6x

LCM given is 2700

Product of 5x and 6x = 30x^2

30x^2=2700*x

30x=2700

X=2700/30

X=90

✅ HCF = 90

Answer: 90
